The rooms were clean and the location is central.
The staff at reception was only male, not particular friendly or helpful. Breakfast was served in a cellar room without windows by some veiled women, who did not understand english. In other hotels of the same price class we had nicer breakfasts in more pleasant environments.

The room/ bath was very dirty. There was a lot of hear on ground. The breakfest is very basic.

Wireless in rooms, good location, air conditioning
Rooms just to sleep. Stuff is more friendly than not but seeking to earn money on everything: map, calling taxi etc

The location is great, close to the main medina. The rooftop terrace is really nice with exceptional views of outer Fez as well as the nearby hustle and bustle. You will also catch an awesome sunset up there. The rooms are small but comfortable and the wifi works a treat. The rooms also have air conditioning which I think is a must in the summer months. The day shift guy Mohammed was delightful. Very friendly and helpful and constantly smiling (even if a little sleazy at times).
The rooms could have been cleaner. Even for a cheaper hotel the dust and hair all over the floor was pretty gross. Then there was the random pair of shoes which I assume belonged to the cleaner which were left in the bathroom along with their cleaning tools. Also, on arrival I had booked a double room but when I got there it wasn't available so I had to sleep in a triple then move the next day. Certainly not the end of the world but inconvenient all the same. The main issue with this place is the guy who works the night shift. He is completely inappropriate and creepy. He kept walking into my room and gently elbowing the door closed. Even when it was clearly unappreciated, he kept attempting his pathetic moves. The guy should not be working there.

Hotel Bab Boujloud is situated just a very few steps from the Fes old city gate Boujloud. The location is excellent to discover the medina. The staff is friendly and you can book a taxi, a rental car, and so on. The roof terrace is nice and has a good overview over the old city. Reasonable till good value for money.
The breakfast is good but more or less everyday the same.

Good location with staff who made us welcome and tv with all the channels and in English. Best roof in the area!

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were decently comfortable, and the heaters in the room worked wonderfully! There were tons of satellite channels, but I only found 1 movie channel in English.
The breakfast was a little on the lean side...it was a typical Moroccan breakfast: bread, jam, and tea, but they could've warmed the bread a little at least, or given an extra flavor of jam. The shower never really got hot, but it was at least warm, and it sufficed.
